In a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, California, Fox Entertainment Group LLC and some of its affiliates (Walt Disney Co.) named Genting Malaysia as the defendant in a lawsuit filed in Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday.
Malaysia could receive some form of new outdoor theme park for free if it wins the lawsuit, according to a note Maybank Investment Bank Bhd on Tuesday, which said the casino company has spent $750 million so far advancing a Hollywood-themed project it had planned with Fox.
